The Leeward is named after a sailing reference which indicates the side of the ship sheltered from the wind. This fitted Tussa/Mulberry-silk blend knit has ribbed cuffs, waist, and neckline. This shape also comes in our fuzzy wool (Helm) and in baby alpaca (Windward).

Japanese cypress already possesses some of the qualities that make it an advantageous building material. An ancient technique used on the cypress creates an even more resilient material called yakisugi. This meticulous burning or charring method changes the composition of the wood surface. When properly accomplished, yakisugi can last for eighty years.
